theMoose spay model shell is designed to house the double layered, bi-colored, detachable "abdominal wall" providing a stable platform for initial skin incision, buried suture and subcuticular suturing.  The shell allows for proper tension within the linea alba insert replicating the feel of tenting and incising the inner abdominal wall membrane. The female reproductive organ is comprised of replaceable "Y" shaped inserts that are designed to mimic the suspensory ligament, uterine horns, ovaries, broad ligament and uterus. The replaceable "Y" is placed within theMOOSE Spay shell and is secured into position. The "Y" is of appropriate length to allow for its externalization and manipulation outside of the "abdominal wall", and is made of materials that closely replicate the feel and response of the actual female organ it is mimicking.
